WebToGo launches the One-Click Internet connection manager for Linux
Munich, 09.07.2007 – WebToGo adds one more piece to the puzzle in its effort to provide its renowned One-Click user experience across all platforms. After servicing PalmOS, Windows Mobile, MS Windows and Mac OS, WebToGo’s best-of-breed connectivity solution is now also available for the Linux OS.
Linux has been a member of the software big leagues for a substantial number of years by now and the growing number of its personal and corporate users is starting to become of interest for Mobile Network Operators and hardware manufacturers. WebToGo wants to support this trend and has therefore made available its One-Click Internet connection manager also for notebooks running Linux SuSE, redhat and ubuntu distributions.
One-Click for Linux is a UMTS connection manager, running WebToGo’s robust patent-pending technology and offering the same streamlined ease-of-use already appreciated by MS Windows and Mac OS users. The software allows the use of data cards, internal modems and most data-enabled mobile phones to connect to the Internet and is bound to be very attractive for users, hardware manufacturers and mobile network operators alike.
One-Click for Linux completes WebToGo’s horizontal operating system coverage and is now available as a white-label solution for mobile network operators, hardware manufacturers and for corporations.
